Randy Boyd was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he graduated from North Central High School in 1980. After two years at the University of Southern California, Randy transferred to and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology in 1985. During college, Randy was both a yell leader at USC and a cheerleader at UCLA and revisits that experience in Cheer Up, a subsection of his blog Randy Boyd’s Blocks. (full bio)
