Five-time Lambda Literary Award finalist.

Randy Boyd writes fiction that explores race, sexuality, and survival in the long shadow of the AIDS crisis. Raised in Indianapolis and educated at USC and UCLA, he’s been writing professionally since age twenty.

His previous novels include Walt Loves the Bearcat, Bridge Across the Ocean, The Devil Inside, and Uprising. His latest work, The Unfrozen Few, Book One: Welcome to the Future, is his first novel in 21 years.

Randy’s first four novels earned five Lambda Literary Award finalist honors. All of them feature main characters who are black, gay, and living with HIV/AIDS.
