About the Book
The Unfrozen Few, Book One: Welcome to the Future
Published by West Beach Books · Release: February 2026
In the 1980s, eleven AIDS patients were frozen in hopes of a cure — but a cryogenic catastrophe led the world to presume they died.
They didn’t.
Decades later, they awaken in present-day America — hidden in a secret facility operated by the same firm that froze them.
At the center is Dr. Nathan Black, a 30-year-old Black gay man and the estranged son of the notorious family of Black mad scientists behind the firm. As Nathan searches for the truth about the so-called catastrophe, he clashes with the new head of the family’s biotech empire — his stepmother, Dr. Brenda Black, a villainess in heels with her own secrets and agenda.
Now comes the fallout.
